Newly uncovered emails of business associates of Hunter Biden, obtained by Business Insider, touted his access to high-level political figures (including his father, of course) in Washington and China, as they considered a business deal with him in 2015.
The New York Post explains:
The two emails…reference getting Hunter’s help on a deal regarding billions in Libyan assets frozen by the Obama administration.
The emails are unrelated to Hunter’s infamous laptop.
In the first email, dated Jan. 28, 2015, Democratic donor Sam Jauhari repeatedly referred to Hunter as “#2 son” — an apparent reference to Joe Biden’s VP role at the time — and noted that Hunter had requested a $2 million retainer.
The emails touted Hunter Biden’s business relationship with Chris Heinz, stepson of then-Secretary of State John Kerry, and his access to the “highest levels” in China.
Negatives? “He is alcoholic, drug addict – kicked [out] of U.S. Army for cocaine, chasing low-class hookers, constantly needs money-liquidity problems and many more headaches,” one email said.
The Libya deal apparently did not proceed with Hunter Biden’s team.
