New York Boss Admits $12,500 Embezzlement
Anthony Brock, ex-treasurer of United Steel Workers of Am. Local 04-06989
in Auburn, N.Y., pled guilty May 29 to embezzling $12,573 from the union
between May 1995 and May 1997. The union's most recent
LM-4 form filed with the DOL lists only $8,932 in total receipts. The case
has been assigned to U.S. Dist. Judge Howard G. Munson (N.D.N.Y., Ford).
