Arizona Boss Indicted on Seven Corruption Counts
On January 17, 2001, in the U.S. Dist. Court for D.C., Gregory Floto,
president of Nat'l Treasury Employees Union Chapter 116 in Tucson, Ariz.,
was indicted on 7 counts of mail fraud/deprivation of honest services (3
counts), making false statements (3 counts), and obstruction of justice
(1 count). The charges were brought following a joint investigation by
the OLMS Los Angeles District Office and the U.S. Customs Service Office
of Internal Affairs. [Dep't of Labor 1/17/01]
