NLPC has developed a reputation for effective legal activism and top-notch research. We also make the case against corruption through demonstrations. The discourse of protest is necessarily blunt, but our actions are always responsible and we always cooperate with law enforcement authorities.
On January 26, NLPC organized a demonstration at the U.S. District Courthouse in Washington as Hillary Rodham Clinton was forced to testify before a grand jury.
We received massive media coverage, including on the four major television networks. NLPC officials Ken Boehm and Peter Flaherty were quoted in dozens of newspapers. Photos of the demonstration appeared in the New York Times, the Washington Times, and virtually every other daily newspaper in the country. (We received help from Amy Moritz and other activists associated with the National Center for Public Policy Research.)
Two nights later, NLPC hit Hillary again. NLPC organized a demonstration at a book store in suburban Virginia as she was inside signing her book. In response to our signs, the horns of passing automobiles blared for two hours.
NLPC has launched the “Whitewater Information Center,” an emergency project to help the American people understand the scandal. Ken Boehm and Peter Flaherty have already been guests on a number of talk and interview programs.
